Additional
testing includes:
Radon Gas Measurement
Radon gas is a naturally occuring
soil gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer.
The Surgeon General and the EPA recommend that all homes be
tested. We are PA DEP certified radon testers using the E-PERM
system, the most accurate short term system available with
results in two days.
Well Capacity, GPM & PSI
The
water well capacity test involves the use of comprehensive
testing equipment. The analysis of this test will show the
water pressure (PSI), the gallons per minute (GPM), and the
ability of the well to produce the amount of water necessary
for daily consumption of an average family. This test is timed,
measured and documented.

Septic Dye Testing
The
septic dye test is used to determine that private sewage disposal
systems (septic tanks, leaching fields, sand mounts) are performing
properly. Both black water and gray water drains are tested
with different color dyes, using several hundred gallons of
water. The grounds and leaching areas are then inspected for
dye surfacing and effluent breakout and/or backup.
Water Quality
A
water sample is collected from a drinking source and analyzed
by a certified laboratory, checking for microbiological organisms
and also for bacteria.
Water Quality FHA/VA
This
test is required by certain lending institutions and requires
extensive testing for bacteria, fecal, lead, nitrates, nitirites,
and total nitrates/nitrites.
Termite & Pest Inspection
An
inspection is done checking for past and/or present activity
and infestation of wood boring and wood destroying insects.
